Our benchmark is OpenEvidence, and our goal is to surpass it by delivering only the highest quality - unbiased clinical researches to doctors As our Founding Engineer, you will lead a lean technical team, collaborating directly with our medical leadership to transform raw clinical data into a hallucination free guidelines ## Responsibilities Your Role You will own the technical roadmap from infrastructure to interface. This is a "player-coach" role where you will build the core architecture while scaling a high-performance engineering culture. Your core focuses will include: - Data Orchestration: Architecting robust pipelines to scrape, normalize, and ingest massive datasets from diverse medical sources. - Agentic Workflows: Designing multi-agent systems to clean, validate, and structure medical data into a high-quality clinical index. - Search Architecture: Building a low-latency, high-precision search engine capable of serving millions of clinicians globally. - Monetization Infrastructure: Developing privacy-first user profiling and a sophisticated ad-serving engine that provides value to users while delivering transparent reporting to partners. - Leadership: Mentoring a small team of engineers and maintaining a high bar for code quality and system reliability. ## Requirements Who You Are - A Full-Stack Architect: You've built and scaled products from 0 to 1. You understand that "founding" means doing whatever it takes—from high-level system design to debugging a scraper at 2 AM. - AI/ML Fluent: You have deep experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases, and agentic AI patterns. - Data Obsessed: You know that a search engine is only as good as its index.
