## About the role You will define what Tesel looks and feels like in the world. The product family includes architectural wall tiles, a physical desktop lighting controller, and eventually packaging and accessories. All of it needs a coherent visual language rooted in restraint, materiality, and how light interacts with form. This starts as a focused design exploration covering: - Form factor and proportions for the hexagonal tile module - CMF palette: aluminum finish, glass treatment, surface texture, color direction - Design language for the product family that carries from the tile to a physical lighting controller to packaging - Material direction for machined aluminum enclosures: finish specification, edge treatment, how the glass meets the metal - Consideration for how the tiles look both lit and unlit, individually and tessellated in arrays - Collaboration with the mechanical engineer on manufacturability from the start The ambition level is high. The enclosure is the product, not just a housing for the technology inside. ## About the company Tesel is building premium architectural lighting tiles that reproduce the full spectrum of natural sunlight. Each tile is a hexagonal module machined from premium aluminum with precision glass optics and a multi-channel LED spectral engine. The product is sold through architects and lighting designers for hospitality, commercial, and high-end residential spaces. We are seed-funded and moving into engineering validation.
