## About the Role We're looking for a part-time Social & Community Lead—an early, foundational hire at Fambot—to build our organic presence from scratch and grow a community of parents who love us. Can grow into a full-time role. This isn't a "manage the brand accounts" job. You'll create real content, show up in real parent communities, and build genuine relationships with creators who can spread the word. You'll work directly with the founders and alongside our growth marketer. One important thing: you need to be comfortable on camera. Some of the best content you'll create will feature you as the voice and face, not just the brand. If you love being in front of a lens, this role was made for you. ## About the Company Fambot is a proactive AI assistant built for parents. It scours your inbox, calendar, group chats, and apps to surface what you need to know, do, and decide—before you even think to ask. Think of it as the superintelligence of AI combined with the loyalty of a labrador: it handles the mental load so you can be present for the parts that actually matter. We're a small, well-funded team of overstretched parents ourselves, with backgrounds from Uber, Instagram, Google, and LinkedIn. We're early, we're moving fast, and we're building something that genuinely changes daily life for families. ## Responsibilities ### Social & Content - Run our priority channels day-to-day: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts - Create, film, edit, and publish short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) plus stills and stories - Write captions and hooks that sound like a parent, not a press release - Build 3–5 recurring content series that become our backbone - Respond to comments and DMs daily—build trust, answer questions, turn curiosity into signups ### Creator & Community - Find and partner with parent micro-influencers who are a natural fit for Fambot - Show up in parent communities—PTAs, school groups, Facebook groups, local networks—in a way that's genuinely helpful, never spammy - Build grassroots loops that drive word-of-mouth and school-to-school referrals - Help seed and nurture early Fambot community spaces ### Insights - Surface what parents are asking, what's resonating, what's confusing—and feed that back into product and content ## Requirements - You can run social like an operator and create like a creator - You're warm, funny, and credible on camera - You understand parent communities and know how to show up respectfully - You move fast, self-manage, and love zero-to-one - You have strong taste and can edit quickly ## Nice to Have - Experience marketing to parents or in education - Creator/affiliate program management - Community building - Basic Canva/Figma skills ## How to Apply Send us a short note (5–10 sentences) on why this role fits you, plus links to 3–5 pieces of content you've created. At least one should be a short-form video where you're on camera.
