Sr. Devops ( AWS - 6+ yrs)

## About the role At Doctus Tech we are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience, who will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Python, we'd love to speak with you. ## Objectives of this Role - Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS/Azure cloud-based production system. - Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS/Azure production systems. - Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems. - Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products. - System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms. - Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance. - Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions. - Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements. - Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform. - Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes. ## Required Skills - 5+ Experience is a must have - Experience with the core AWS services, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ELK, etc. - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Having used AWS ECS or EKS in the past is a plus. - Must have strong understanding in networking concepts. - Experience in working in multiple production deployments. (Preferably Python project deployments) - Must have strong understanding with CI/CD Pipeline integration - Must have strong understanding with High Availability systems and Single of Point failures protections - Experience with JSON or YAML is plus. - Experience with core Azure services is a plus. ## Candidates must have - Own laptop (at least 16GB RAM and i5 processor) - Internet connectivity/Wi-fi - Power backup during power cuts.
