## About the Role We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team and focus on Sales and Marketing data. In this role, you will be integral to building scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions, enabling our sales and marketing teams to make better, data-driven decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, and your contributions will ensure that data is integrated, reliable, and accessible for business insights. We value diversity in our teams and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. ## Key Responsibilities - Build and Maintain Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to process and integrate Sales & Marketing data from multiple platforms, including CRM systems, ad tools, and web analytics. - Data Integration: Ensure seamless integration of data across platforms, ensuring that it's accurate, reliable, and accessible for analysis. - Data Modeling: Design effective data models that support sales, marketing, and business insights. - Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Sales, and Marketing teams to understand their data needs and build solutions that meet them. - Ensure Data Quality: Take ownership of data quality, ensuring that it remains consistent, accurate, and readily available for business decision-making. - Support Analytics and Reporting: Develop and optimize datasets and reporting layers to help track sales performance, marketing campaign results, and revenue forecasts. - Documentation: Ensure clear and thorough documentation for data pipelines, models, and tools, making it easier for team members and stakeholders to access and use the data. - Automation: Focus on automating manual tasks and ensuring data processes are reliable, consistent, and high-performing. - Mentorship (Optional): If you have experience, you can support and guide junior data engineers as needed. ## Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics). - 4+ years of hands-on experience building ETL/ELT systems and handling large-scale data. - Experience working with Sales and Marketing data (e.g., CRM, marketing platforms, sales KPIs, attribution). - Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with tools like Spark or Scala is a plus. - Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts. - Experience with structured and unstructured data. - Familiar with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow. - Experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Looker, Tableau, or Streamlit. - Knowledge of relational and MPP databases (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks). - Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - A passion for working in remote teams, with the ability to be self-motivated and work independently. ## Nice to Have - Master's degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline. - Experience in IT consulting or client-facing roles. - Familiarity with modern data stack tools (Databricks, dbt, Snowflake). - Experience working closely with data scientists and business teams. ## What We Offer - Competitive salary based on experience and skills. - Flexible work arrangements (remote or hybrid) to accommodate your work-life balance. - Opportunities to work with diverse clients across industries. - Exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies and modern data stacks. - Professional growth support, including training, certifications, and learning resources. - A collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture where women are encouraged to lead and thrive. ## About the Company Smart Marketings Hub
