## About the role In ACT, we have developed a scalable mobile marketplace for sustainable grocery shopping, which will empower consumers to start shopping sustainably almost overnight with the ACT app, changing the direction of their combined purchasing power towards producers who respect the environment and treat their workers well. We play a crucial role in the emergence of (possibly) the only tool that can realistically impact the future of the food production industry and thus mitigate global warming and change the lives of millions for the better. ## Responsibilities - Requirement Analysis - Review product requirements and specifications. - Clarify acceptance criteria and identify potential gaps or risks early - Test Planning - Create test strategies and test plans for projects. - Identify scope, testing types, tools, timelines, and resources needed - Test Case Design - Write detailed, clear test cases (manual or automated) - Create test data, test scenarios, and edge-case coverage. - Manual Testing - Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory tests - Document defects clearly and track them through resolution - Automation Testing (where applicable) - Develop and maintain automated test suites - Use tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc. - Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines - Defect Reporting & Tracking - Log bugs with clear reproduction steps - Prioritize issues based on severity and impact - Collaborate with developers for quick resolution - Performance & Security Testing Support - Conduct or assist with load, stress, and security testing - Work with specialized performance or security teams if available ## Requirements - Has good collaboration skills in an international team - Has discipline and self drive (it's not easy to come back from work and work again!) - Builds effective and fun relations with other people of diverse backgrounds - Enjoys remote work and flexibility of time and location - Speaks fluently in English - Has willingness to devote at least 10 hours per week to ACT projects.
