Senior Software Engineer Backend Consultant

This role is for engineers who like owning systems, not just writing endpoints. ## Responsibilities - Build high-performance backend services in Node.js - Design APIs that don't just work—but scale cleanly - Get deep into SQL (data modeling, query tuning, real-world performance) - Own features end-to-end—from idea → prod → iteration - Work closely with Product & Frontend to ship fast and ship right - Debug, optimize, and harden systems used by thousands daily ## Requirements You must have: - 2–7 years of solid backend engineering experience - Strong hands-on work with Node.js and Golang - Comfort with SQL databases (Postgres/MySQL, indexing, joins, performance) - Experience building and maintaining production APIs - Clear thinking around systems, trade-offs, and scale ## Nice to have - Exposure to Next.js / React.js (full-stack curiosity counts) - Experience with microservices, queues, or async systems - Cloud exposure (AWS/GCP), Docker, CI/CD - Startup or consumer-scale product experience
