## About the role Lead Full-Stack Engineer (.NET/Angular, Azure) Hands-on Lead Software Engineer who will lead a small delivery pod while coding daily across the stack. Own a product area end to end—architect, design, implement, and review high-impact services and UIs—and stay hands-on writing production code the majority of the time. Set technical direction, raise the engineering bar, and deliver reliable, scalable features on a modern cloud platform—without stepping away from building. Mentor engineers and partner with product management and teammates across a distributed team (US & India). ## Responsibilities - Lead a small delivery pod while coding daily across the stack. - Own a product area end to end—architect, design, implement, and review high-impact services and UIs. - Stay hands-on writing production code the majority of the time. - Set technical direction and raise the engineering bar. - Deliver reliable, scalable features on a modern cloud platform. - Mentor engineers. - Partner with product management and teammates across a distributed team (US & India). ## Required Technical Skills - **Backend**: Deep expertise in .NET Core with a microservices architecture; design, implementation, reviews. - **Frontend**: Proficient in modern SPA frameworks; Angular preferred (React/Vue acceptable). - **Databases**: Hands-on with MongoDB (primary) and SQL. - **Cloud**: Azure-native preferred; make pragmatic decisions balancing scalability, reliability, security, and cost (AWS acceptable). - **Tooling & Workflow**: Visual Studio / VS Code, Git; code reviews, pair/mob programming. - **Experience**: 7+ years of professional software development with recent tech-lead scope on production systems. - **Collaboration**: Operates effectively in a distributed team with minimal guidance; partners with product management in the US & India; early and often communication. ## Nice to have - AWS experience (when Azure is not available.) - Exposure to React or Vue beyond Angular. - Prior success operating in distributed product teams across time zones. ## Skills — Soft skills & collaboration - **Leadership & Mentorship**: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; provide code reviews, pair/mob sessions, and growth feedback; raise the engineering bar. - **Ownership Mindset**: End-to-end accountability; ability to debug across the full stack independently; no "not-my-code" attitude. - **Engineering Discipline**: "Measure twice, cut once" approach; balances scalability, reliability, security, and cost in architecture decisions. - **Communication**: Proactive communicator; collaborates early and often with product and teammates in the US & India. - **Autonomy**: Operates with minimal guidance; drives outcomes and qualit: Full-stack debugging across services, APIs, UI, and data layers; navigate and fix complex, system-wide bugs; no "not-my-code" mindset. - **Tooling & Workflow**: Visual Studio / VS Code, Git; code reviews, pair/mob programming. - **Experience**: 7+ years of professional software development with recent tech-lead scope on production systems. - **Collaboration**: Operates effectively in a distributed team with minimal guidance; partners with product management in the US & India; early and often communication.
