## About the role We are looking for a hands-on Senior Engineering Partner to support the CTO during a critical build phase. This is: - Not a passive advisory role - Not full-time (yet) It is a high-impact builder role for someone who wants meaningful ownership early and the option to move into a permanent leadership position post funding. ## What You'll Do (Hands-On, Focused Scope) ### CTO Support & Core Engineering Work directly with the CTO on: - Core architecture decisions - Technical problem-solving - MVP delivery priorities Contribute production-quality code where it matters most Act as a technical sounding board and execution partner ### iOS & Spatial Computing Contribute to the native iOS app Support: - Swift / SwiftUI architecture - ARKit / RealityKit experiences - Spatial UI and location-based logic Help optimize performance for real-world AR usage ### AR, Spatial Commerce & Real-Time Systems Support: - Location-based AR discovery - Social and multiplayer spatial concepts - Real-time overlays and filters Help validate spatial UX and performance trade-offs ### Web3, Tokens & Digital Assets Help implement: - Token reward mechanics - NFT-based assets (deals, rewards, collectibles) - Wallet integrations (custodial and non-custodial) Support clean, mainstream-friendly Web3 UX ### Backend & Integration (Selective) Collaborate on: - APIs and services - Firebase / serverless logic - Real-time data flows Focus on pragmatic, scalable early-stage solutions ## Who We're Looking For Must-Have - Senior, hands-on engineer (you actively code) - Strong native iOS experience - Experience shipping consumer-facing products - Comfortable contributing in a part-time, early-stage role - Startup or zero-to-one experience preferred ## Bonus (Nice to Have) - Spatial computing / XR - Game mechanics or gamification - Blockchain smart contracts - Founder or CTO background ## Time & Collaboration Model - 8–10 hrs/week, flexible - Async-friendly, outcome-driven - Clear priorities and high leverage work - Designed to scale post funding ## Growth Path Post pre-seed funding, this role is expected to evolve into one of the following (by mutual agreement): - Lead Engineer - Principal Engineer - Head of Engineering - Core Founding Engineer ## Why This Role Matters You'll be: - A foundational technical contributor - Shaping architecture at the right moment - Building a genuinely new spatial commerce category - Positioned early for long-term upside ## About the company TokuGo is building a playable spatial commerce platform where real-world discovery, AR, AI, and Web3 converge.
