We specialize in building cloud-native systems, enterprise integrations, and workflow-driven applications that support business continuity, security, and operational excellence. ## About the Role We are seeking a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for enterprise platforms and digital solutions. You will work closely with frontend, AI, and infrastructure teams to build reliable, production-grade services, APIs, and workflow-driven systems. ## Responsibilities - Design and develop backend services using Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) or Node.js (NestJS, Express). - Build modular, scalable backend architectures and business logic layers. - Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for internal and external consumers. - Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC), including Keycloak integration. - Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization. - Use Supabase for PostgreSQL-based database operations and real-time features. - Implement asynchronous processing and background jobs using asyncio, Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka. - Integrate backend services with external enterprise systems (SAP, third-party APIs). - Work with BPMN workflow engines (Flowable) to implement workflow-driven business processes and approvals. - Build containerized services using Docker (Alpine Linux preferred) and support deployments via Kubernetes. - Deploy and operate services on AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, scaling, and incident response. - Write clean, type-annotated, and well-tested code using Poetry, Pydantic, mypy, and pytest. - Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and backend best practices. ## Requirements - Strong backend development experience with Python. - Experience building APIs with FastAPI, Flask, Django, NestJS, or Express. - Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases. - Experience with async/await programming in Python. - Familiarity with Docker, containerized environments, and cloud platforms. - Experience with CI/CD, logging, and monitoring tools. - Understanding of secure backend system design and API protection. ## Nice to Have - Experience with BPMN workflow engines (Flowable, Camunda, Activiti). - Familiarity with Apache Camel or enterprise integration frameworks. - Experience with Keycloak for identity and access management. - Experience with feature flag systems (GrowthBook, LaunchDarkly, Unleash). - Knowledge of secrets management (Vault, OpenBao). - Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based service integrations. - Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures. ## What We Offer - Competitive salary with annual renewable contract. - 30 days of annual leave. - Medical insurance coverage. - Relocation support to Dubai (if applicable). - Supportive, professional, and collaborative team culture. - Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale platforms, workflow systems, and cloud-native architectures. ## Location and Language - Location: Onsite - Dubai, UAE (with occasional travel to Riyadh, KSA) - Language: English (Arabic is a plus) - Important: Urgent, focus on candidates based in Dubai
