## About the Role At Lytmus, the mobile app isn't just another interface — it's where students actually learn. Students spend hours every day on our app solving doubts, attempting adaptive assessments, and interacting with AI tutors trained by real teachers. The app must feel fast, reliable, and intelligent, even on low-end devices and unstable networks. We're looking for a startup-quality Mobile Engineer who wants real ownership — not just tasks. ## What You'll Build - A production-grade React Native app used daily by serious exam aspirants - Real-time AI tutor experiences (chat, audio, feedback loops) - Performance-critical flows: assessments, analytics, adaptive feedback - An app that works offline-first, scales with users, and feels delightful - You'll be shaping both architecture and product decisions from early stages. ## Your Responsibilities - Own the mobile app end-to-end — architecture → development → App Store / Play Store releases - Identify bottlenecks and make architectural decisions: when React Native is enough and when to go native - Design and implement clean, scalable architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularized codebases) - Integrate backend & AI APIs (Node.js, LLMs, real-time systems) - Work closely with founders to translate learning problems into product features - Optimize for performance, battery, memory, and network reliability ## What We're Looking For You're likely a fit if you: - Have 2–5 years of solid React Native experience - Have built and shipped real apps used by real users - Care deeply about code quality, UX, and performance - Can work independently without heavy supervision - Think in terms of product impact, not just implementation ## Tech Stack - React Native - MVVM / Clean Architecture - Coroutines, Flow - Retrofit / OkHttp - Firebase (Auth, FCM, Crashlytics) ## Big Plus If You've Worked On - Early-stage startups or side projects you owned - Offline-first or low-bandwidth apps - Chat, audio, or AI-driven interfaces - Multiplatform development (KMM / KMP) ## What You'll Get - Founding-level ownership of the Android app - Direct access to product & AI decisions - Fast growth in AI + mobile systems - Competitive salary + meaningful ESOPs - A product that actually helps students learn better ## When Applying, Please Include - Portfolio links — apps you've built (Play Store / App Store links preferred) - GitHub profile — especially repos showing native modules or React Native bridges you've written
