Founding Full Stack Software Engineer (MERN)

## About the Role As a Founding Full Stack Engineer (MERN), you'll own end-to-end delivery of major features across frontend and backend. You'll work alongside our CTO (ex-Amazon, Microsoft) and product leads (IIT/IIM) to ship a scalable, secure, and fast B2B and B2C applications. ## Responsibilities - Build and maintain core product modules using React, Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Express, and MongoDB - Solid API design skills (auth, pagination, idempotency, error models) - Hands-on with AWS (serverless preferred) and cloud-native patterns - Optimize performance, security, and scalability for a global user base - Experience with distributed systems basics: queues, retries, rate limits, observability - Integrate AI-powered features (e.g., recommendations, chat, automations) ## Requirements - 3–6 years of hands-on experience building modern cloud-based Saas solutions in production - Experience with distributed systems basics: queues, retries, rate limits, observability - Integrate AI-powered features (e.g., recommendations, chat, automations) ## Nice to have - Strong background in building AI-first web applications, with hands-on experience integrating LLMs (e.g., Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic) : tool calling, structured outputs, evals, safety guardrails - Experience with DynamoDB (single-table or well-structured multi-table) and data modeling - Experience with serverless architectures and working knowledge of vector DBs and RAG. - Agentic workflow experience: planners/executors, long-running tasks, event-driven orchestration - Experience with media pipelines (TTS, video/audio processing, manifests, CDN delivery) ## What we offer - **Scope**: Be part of the founding team and build the solution from ground up. - **Work Environment**: Fully Remote and work from home with flexible work hours. - **AI-first**: Design for intelligent workflows, not static screens. - **Voice**: Be part of the founding team - your design DNA will define the product. - **Impact**: Help transform a $600B industry. - **Equity & Ownership**: Competitive compensation and early-stage upside. - **Salary**: Salary is take home in your account.
