Lead and manage the national collections and credit control function, develop and implement effective collections strategies to reduce debtor days, monitor and manage the national debtor's book, perform gain and loss calculations and provide financial analysis, prepare and manage customer and supplier commission schedules, calculate and reconcile customer rebate schedules, review customer account profitability, prepare and reconcile consolidated customer statements from multiple ERP systems, reconcile complex customer accounts and resolve queries, produce weekly and monthly debtor and financial performance reports, liaise with Sales, Finance, and Operations to resolve account issues, manage escalated accounts and negotiate payment arrangements, ensure compliance with credit policies and internal controls, identify opportunities to improve collections processes
