Senior C++ Trading Systems Developer | HFT | Amsterdam Based (Hybrid) | €250,000 + Bonus Albert Bow have partnered with a leading global trading firm who are seeking a Senior C++ Developer to join its trading systems team. This firm operates on major exchanges worldwide and is a top player in the HFT, market making and liquidity provision. With a commitment to cutting-edge technology, they offer a high=performance infrastructure that competes with tier 1 firms while maintaining a lean and agile team. Responsibilities
Work closely with Quant Researchers to develop and optimise trading systems across various markets.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills, deep technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
3+ years of professional experience as a C++ developer.
Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 and newer).
Deep understanding of computer systems, including operating systems, networks, and performance optimisation.
Expertise in Linux.
Experience working with complex architecture and high-load systems.
Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
A strong desire to learn and share knowledge with the team.
Nice to Have
Experience developing low-latency trading systems.
Proficiency in Python.
Knowledge of network stack (L1, L2, TCP, UDP).
Understanding of modern x86-x64 architecture.
Experience in competitive programming contests (e.g., IOI, ICPC, HashCode) or CTF challenges.
