Android Developer

## About the role We are seeking a talented Android Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java and Kotlin, with specific expertise in developing scalable applications for Android Phones and Smart TVs. Proficiency in Kotlin and Compose is highly desired. Additionally, a good understanding of problem-solving, data structures, and algorithms is essential for this role. ## Roles & Responsibilities - Develop high-quality Android applications for different form factors. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Troubleshoot, debug and optimize code for performance and stability. - Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies. ## Skills & Experience - Proficiency in Java and Kotlin. - Good experience with native Android development using Jetpack Compose. - Experience with Kotlin StateFlow, RxKotlin, RxJava, LiveData etc for reactive programming. - Good exposure to Kotlin Coroutines and related nuances for asynchronous programming. - Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger. - Good understanding of Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms. - Good understanding of system design and architecture skills - specifically for Android. - Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. - Over 3+ years of Android App development experience with complete exposure to Android development. - Idea/experience of unit and instrumentation testing in Android E2E App development and/or experience in developing SDKs is good to have. - Familiarity with design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, MVI, UDF, Layered Architecture, Clean Architecture, Android Architecture Components etc. ## Nice to have - Exposure to native iOS app development (using SwiftUI or UIKit)
