Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in Microwave Micro-Electro Mechanical Systems (ref 303565)
Role Overview:
Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in Microwave Micro-Electro Mechanical Systems (ref 303565) available at the Nanoelectronics group, Department of Informatics. The position is part of the TerrificMEMS project, a collaborative effort between the University of Oslo (UiO), SINTEF MiNaLab, and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). The primary goal of the project is to develop smart MEMS-based reflectors for dynamic steering of microwave signals. You will develop skills through design, fabrication, and characterization of MEMS-based smart reflector structures for precise microwave beam steering. With access to SINTEF MiNaLab piezoelectric MEMS process, as well as state-of-the-art microwave laboratory facilities at UiO and QMUL, this position provides a unique opportunity for both device development and advanced RF testing.
Responsibilities:
Develop skills through design, fabrication, and characterization of MEMS-based smart reflector structures for precise microwave beam steering. Work on the development of smart MEMS-based reflectors for dynamic steering of microwave signals. Utilize state-of-the-art microwave laboratory facilities and the SINTEF MiNaLab piezoelectric MEMS process.
Requirements:
Research Field: Computer science
Education Level: PhD or equivalent
Qualifications:
Recognised Researcher (R2) profile.
What They Offer:
A temporary full-time position with 37.5 hours per week. The opportunity to work on a collaborative project with the University of Oslo, SINTEF MiNaLab, and Queen Mary University of London. Access to state-of-the-art microwave laboratory facilities and the SINTEF MiNaLab piezoelectric MEMS process. A unique opportunity for both device development and advanced RF testing.
