Chief Technology Officer

## About the role We're looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy, drive innovation, and build high-performance engineering and AI systems from the ground up. If you're the kind of leader who loves creating scalable systems, launching ambitious products, and using technology as a force multiplier — this is your stage. You'll steer the technical roadmap, manage the engineering team, make critical architectural decisions, and ensure that technology stays aligned with the business vision. From hands-on product development to high-level strategy, you'll have a seat at the decision-making table. ## Responsibilities ### Technology Strategy & Architecture - Define the long-term technology vision for the company. - Lead architectural decisions across systems, platforms, and infrastructure. - Evaluate emerging technologies and guide build vs. buy vs. integrate decisions. ### Product & Engineering Execution - Oversee development of core products, tech platforms, and AI architectures. - Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of roadmap features. - Implement best practices across development, testing, and deployment. ### Team Leadership & Culture - Build, mentor, and scale a world-class engineering + AI team. - Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and innovation. - Support hiring, onboarding, knowledge sharing, and growth initiatives. ### Operational Excellence - Set and manage engineering KPIs and OKRs. - Establish scalable workflows across CI/CD, version control, and cloud deployments. - Oversee DevOps, security, compliance, and tech budget management. - Work closely with Product, Design, AI Research, and Leadership teams. - Translate business goals into new features and technical strategies. - Represent technology decisions to investors, partners, and key stakeholders. ## Requirements - Proven experience leading engineering teams or tech operations at a startup, SaaS, or AI-driven company. - Strong understanding of full-stack development, architecture, DevOps, and API-driven systems. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern frameworks. - Comfortable with AI/ML systems, LLM integration, data pipelines, or emerging AI architectures. - Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. ## Nice to have - Entrepreneurial or founder experience - Experience scaling teams from early-stage to Series A+ - Open-source contributions or tech talks - Experience with agentic AI, LLM model tuning, or edge computing - Ability to balance fast experimentation with technical rigor
