Ever. ## The Role We are looking for a founding backend engineer to own our core infrastructure from the ground up. This is not a support role. You will be a core member of the founding team with real ownership and real impact. ## What You Will Build - Modular APIs for onboarding, Recovery Mode, and admin tools - AWS infrastructure (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS) - CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS deployment - Secure authentication and data protection aligned with GLBA and FCRA compliance - Plaid integration for real-time borrower financial verification - Production deployment to fynancr.com ## What We Are Looking For - 3 to 6 years of backend development experience in fast-paced environments - Strong hands-on expertise in AWS architecture and DevOps - Skilled in Node.js and Express.js - Startup mindset. Self-starter. Ownership driven. Fast execution. - Genuine interest in building products that reduce financial stress for real people ## Technical Skills Backend Engineering: Node.js, Express.js or similar frameworks Cloud Infrastructure: AWS including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM DevOps and CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Docker, Vercel or AWS deployment pipelines API Development: RESTful and modular APIs including design, testing, and documentation Databases: PostgreSQL required. MongoDB is a plus. Security and Compliance: Auth flows, secure coding practices, and familiarity with GLBA and FCRA Collaboration Stack: GitHub, Slack, Notion ## Bonus Points - Prior experience in fintech, banking APIs, or collections infrastructure - Integrated with platforms like Plaid, Alloy, Persona, or similar ## Equity and Commitment This is an equity-only founding role with the opportunity to convert to paid once funding is secured.
