Backend Engineer (Python)

## About the role True Path Leads Inc | Remote | Full-Time Tech Stack: Python (FastAPI), SQL (MySQL/Clickhouse), Kafka, AWS About Us At True Path Leads, we're building the next generation of performance marketing infrastructure. Our proprietary lead management system is built for scale — processing millions of pings and leads per day in real-time. We're rapidly expanding and now need a highly capable Full Stack Python Developer to help build and scale our new lead processing engine and supporting tools. ## What You'll Do - Build and scale a mission-critical lead processing system using Python and FastAPI - Own the architecture and development of key backend and API components using Clean Architecture and SOLID principles - Design and implement real-time data handling with Kafka and SQL (PerconaDB and Clickhouse) - Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to define and deliver new features - Integrate with affiliate networks, CRMs, and external APIs (REST and webhook-based) - Deploy and monitor services in AWS (EKS) using modern DevOps workflows ## What We're Looking For - 3+ years experience in Python, ideally with FastAPI or other modern frameworks - Strong SQL experience (MySQL, PerconaDB, Clickhouse); comfortable with complex queries and data modeling - Solid understanding of Kafka, event-driven architectures, and real-time data pipelines - Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and scalable backend services - Experience implementing SOLID principles and Clean Architecture - Proficiency in front-end development is a plus - Experience with AWS infrastructure (EKS, S3, RDS, etc.) - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools and telemetry (e.g., Prometheus, Loki) Bonus: Experience in performance marketing, lead gen platforms, or affiliate systems ## What You'll Get - Fully remote role with flexible work hours - Direct input into architecture and product roadmap - Ownership of meaningful systems used at scale - Fast-paced startup environment with experienced leadership - Competitive compensation based on experience and skill set
