## About the role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing & Development Intern to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and testing of our parental control applications, working closely with experienced engineers and founders. This is primarily a work-from-home position with occasional in-person meetings in Bangalore for a few hours per week. ## About the company Raxak.ai is a cutting-edge parental control product designed to empower parents with insights into their child's online behavior and potential risks. We are developing comprehensive mobile (Android, iOS) and desktop applications to foster a safer digital environment for children. Founded by IIT Kharagpur alumni with extensive experience at leading tech companies like Google, SAP, and Cisco, Raxak.ai is committed to innovation and user-centric solutions. ## Responsibilities - Develop the iOS app using Swift based on the Android app we already have. - Perform functional, regression, and usability testing to ensure high-quality software releases. - Document and track software defects using bug tracking systems. - Assist in the development of new features and functionalities for our applications. - Troubleshoot and debug software issues. - Participate in daily team meetings (both virtual and in-person). ## Qualifications - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science. - Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. - Familiarity with Swift and iOS mobile platforms. - Basic programming skills in at least one of (Java, Kotlin, Swift, Python, JavaScript) is a must. - Ability to work independently and remotely. - Must be located in Bangalore and able to attend weekly in person meetings for a few hours. ## What we offer - Hands-on experience in software testing and development. - Opportunity to work on a meaningful product that makes a positive impact. - Mentorship from experienced engineers and IIT Kharagpur alumni. - Flexible work-from-home arrangement. - Exposure to the startup environment. - Potential for a full time offer after internship completion.
