Senior Backend Engineer

## About the Role We're hiring a senior backend engineer to help us build and evolve the Sensity platform. You'll work across the full backend, from product features to infrastructure, as part of a small team that ships often. This is a role for someone who delivers high-quality work consistently, takes real ownership of what they build, and enjoys working as part of a tight team. ## What You'll Work On - Develop and evolve the backend services behind Sensity's deepfake detection platform, serving both our cloud and on-premise customers. - Strengthen our testing and deployment pipeline so we can ship fast and confidently to both cloud and on-premise environments. - Solve the engineering challenges that come with packaging and delivering on-premise software to enterprise customers, from licensing and code obfuscation to deployment operations. - Improve cloud infrastructure as our customer load grows, with a focus on stability, speed, and rethinking how our detection models are deployed and served. - Contribute to new platform features alongside the rest of the engineering team. ## Our Stack - Backend. Docker Compose, Electron, Linux and Windows. ## What You'll Bring - From 5 to 10 years of backend engineering experience and a track record of owning services in production: design, deployment, on-call, the whole thing. - Strong Python skills, with hands-on experience in FastAPI and Django. - Comfort working with Postgres in production. - Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with Linux and Windows. - Comfort working alongside ML and inference systems. You don't need to train models, but you should be at ease in code that does. ## The Kind of Person We're Looking For - Ships consistently.
