## About the Role As a Front End/Full Stack Developer and CTO or Lead Developer at Buildly, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll actively contribute to product development, learn about the Buildly Lifecycle process, and gain exposure to our Radical Therapy for Software Teams methodologies. Over the course of the internship, you will be involved in open-source contributions, technical planning, and implementation, while learning how to support startups in achieving their product development goals. At the end of the internship, you will have the opportunity to work as a shadow CTO on a project or take on an interim or full-time CTO role for a startup or lead developer position for a corporate contract. ## Location Remote ## Duration 1-2 Months Internship and Training followed by Full time position with a startup as a Buildly employee. ## Compensation This internship is unpaid intially but offers the potential for future contract, interim, or full-time employment based on performance. Salary based on experience and availabel position compensation range. ## What You'll Do ### Learn the Buildly Lifecycle Process - Get familiar with how Buildly helps startups document ideas, translate business concepts into technical requirements, and manage product development. - Gain insight into how we utilize AI to streamline release management and product planning. ### Contribute to Open-Source Projects - Engage with open-source projects aligned with Buildly's mission, contributing code, documentation, and process improvements. - Work with senior developers to understand the tools, processes, and methodologies that make Buildly successful. ### Work with the Radical Therapy for Software Teams - Learn about and implement the principles from the "Radical Therapy for Software Teams" book, including team management and agile methodologies. - Contribute to the improvement of development processes at Buildly, bringing fresh perspectives to the table. ### Engage in Hands-On Development - Develop, test, and deploy features for both internal tools and customer-facing products. - Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other agile practices. ### Shadow Senior Technical Leaders - After completing the internship, you'll have the opportunity to shadow the CTO or work closely with senior developers to gain a deeper understanding of leading technical teams and projects. ### Certification and Career Development - As part of the internship, you will be part of a certification process that includes contributing to open-source projects and learning about Buildly and Radical Therapy processes. - After three months, you'll have the opportunity to transition into a shadow CTO role, or be considered for an interim or full-time CTO or Lead Developer role within a startup or on a corporate contract. ## What We're Looking For - **Technical Skills**: Basic understanding of software development practices (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Git, APIs, etc.).
