## Responsibilities
- Define SCM strategies: Develop and maintain processes, guidelines, and tools for software configuration management throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage version and change control: Be responsible for baselines and change control for complex, distributed software systems.
- Support development teams: Guide and support developers in strategies for branching, merging, and version releases.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines: Collaborate closely with DevOps and build/release teams to optimize continuous integration and delivery.
- Ensure traceability: Drive configuration reviews (audits) and ensure full traceability between requirements, code, builds, and delivered configurations.
- Integrate third-party software: Support and quality-assure the integration of external vendor and third-party software.
- Conduct configuration reviews and status reporting within projects.
## Requirements
- Relevant higher education or university degree (e.g., in computer science, software development, IT) or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as the role requires close collaboration with system engineers, architects, and external vendors.
- Advanced practical knowledge of software configuration management (SCM) or a similar role in complex environments.
- Good practical knowledge of version control systems (such as Git) and associated strategies for branching and merging.
- Good practical knowledge of build, release, and CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance according to current security protection regulations.
## Nice to Have
- Good theoretical or practical knowledge of international standards and frameworks in configuration management.
- Experience from large-scale, security-critical development environments or complex system integration.
