## Job Title Postdoc in Computer Science – Cybersecurity ## Responsibilities - Conduct research during 80% of your time in relevant areas such as cybersecurity, AI-supported systems, data-driven security, or closely related fields. - Spend 20% of your time on teaching or other administrative duties in courses relevant to your competencies. - Collaborate in interdisciplinary research environments. - Work on the project SAVIOR (AI-Supported Alert Validation for Industrial SOC (Security Operations Center) Response). - Focus on reducing the need for manual communication during the validation process and post-incident analysis reporting within an end-to-end SOC ecosystem. ## Requirements - Hold a doctoral degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Cybersecurity, AI, Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, or another closely related subject, no more than three years before the application deadline. - Have documented knowledge of AI and ML. - Demonstrate research experience in areas such as cybersecurity, AI-supported systems, data-driven security, or closely related fields. - Have experience in implementing, evaluating, or applying AI/ML-based methods, for example, ML, generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, explainable AI, anomaly detection, or decision-support systems. - Have a strong publication record relative to career stage. - Be able to conduct independent research while also collaborating in interdisciplinary research environments. ## Nice to Have - Have experience working with SOCs, SOC workflows, SOC data, alert validation, incident response, or post-incident analysis. - Have experience in human-computer interaction, human-centered AI, explainable AI, or user-centered design. - Have experience designing, conducting, and analysing empirical studies, for example, user studies, interviews, experiments, or field studies. - Have experience collaborating with industry or other external stakeholders. - Have a good ability to communicate in both spoken and written Swedish. ## Benefits - A dynamic working environment at a collaborative, internationally connected, and globally oriented university. - A possibility to continue your academic career within the field of Computer Science. - Teaching in programmes with a close connection to the industry, where all students gain experience from internships. - A workplace in the city center of Jönköping, surrounded by nature and lakes, but also near several airports and public transport. - Help to relocate and settle in Jönköping. ## Information - The position is a temporary 100% employment for 2 years, starting 2026-10-01 or by agreement. - Collective agreements and individual wages apply. - We value having an organization made up of diverse skills, experiences, and abilities, which is why we encourage applications from all backgrounds. - We are committed to equality and diversity within our organization. - More information regarding the recruitment process is in our 'Appointment procedure'. - Welcome with your application, no later than 2026-08-31. - Your application is preferred in PDF form and should include: cover letter, CV, PhD thesis, certified copies of certificates and diplomas. ## About the University - Tekniska Högskolan is one of four colleges at Jönköping University.
