The role sits close to the business and gives you the opportunity to turn complex questions into clear, actionable recommendations for teams working with customer, sales, commercial, merchandising, product, supply chain, sustainability, and finance. In this role, you will help drive a more data-informed way of working by identifying where better decision support is needed and translating data into direction that creates measurable value. You will work end-to-end, from framing the problem to presenting the outcome, and collaborate with stakeholders who rely on your analysis to prioritize initiatives and follow up on results. What makes this role especially interesting is the broad business exposure and the chance to influence decisions with data across multiple parts of the retail value chain. ## Responsibilities - Identify strategic challenges where data-driven decision support can create business value. - Drive data-informed decision-making in your initiative or product team by turning data into insights and clear recommendations. - Apply advanced analytics methods and tools to model, execute, and follow up initiatives from idea to industrialization. - Own the full analysis process, including problem definition, scoping, data extraction, data cleaning, analysis, visualization, recommendations, and presentation of results. - Translate business challenges into structured analyses and define measurable KPIs and OKRs for follow-up and value reporting. - Build, maintain, and improve visualizations that make performance and impact easy to understand. - Act as the data analytics expert in cross-functional teams and work closely with business stakeholders to solve complex challenges using data. - Support a broad range of business topics across areas such as sales, commercial, and merchandising. ## Requirements - Proven several years of experience as either a Data Analyst, Product/Business Analyst or similar. - Proven experience from retail sales, commercial, and/or merchandising business domain. - Strong business sense with the ability to make sound interpretations of data and other information. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate and explain complex data analysis to non-technical and senior stakeholders. - Hands-on experience writing advanced SQL queries to extract, prepare, validate, and analyze large data sets. - Expert experience in analytical tools such as Power BI. - Previous experience or confidence working with cloud platform data analytics, including GCP and BigQuery. - Strong Excel skills, including functions and tools such as Power Pivot, Power Query, Tabular Editor, and DAX. - Fluent English. ## Nice to Have - N/A ## Benefits - Permanent employment at Avaron AB - Occupational pension - Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year Application Selections are made on an ongoing basis – apply as soon as you can.
