## Responsibilities - You will be part of the verification and validation chain for the aircraft's flight control system — the final instance before systems move to flight testing. - You work with simulations, rig tests, and system tests in both desktop and simulator environments, stressing systems, finding faults, and ensuring flight safety and performance requirements are met. - You develop and adapt tools for data analysis, handle large data sets, and produce the most critical results that design and hardware teams need to improve the system. - You collaborate closely with multiple technical disciplines within aerospace — software development, hardware, requirements/design, and flight testing — providing a natural breadth and deep understanding of the entire flight control system lifecycle. - A typical day may involve coding analysis tools, investigating fault outcomes, participating in technical discussions, and sitting in the simulator with a test pilot or conducting rig tests. - The role is varied, problem-solving oriented, and suits someone who wants to grow technically and potentially take steps toward (e.g.) technical leadership. ## Requirements - You are curious, analytical, and communicative, and thrive in an environment where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and having fun together are key. - You are social, contribute to a positive atmosphere, and enjoy building relationships both within the team and with other technical disciplines. - You are willing to ask questions, take initiative, and enjoy understanding the whole picture behind complex systems. - You have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, e.g., technical physics, medical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace and space engineering, computer science, or similar. - You have at least one year of relevant work experience in engineering. - You are programming-savvy, preferably in Python and/or MATLAB. ## Nice to Have - Experience with Simulink, Linux, or Git. - Experience with data-driven tools and a general understanding of Machine Learning and AI. - Experience with data analysis, tool development, or handling large data sets. - Experience with simulation, rig testing, or working in secure environments. - Interest in aerospace, flight control systems, or advanced technical systems. - Ability to contribute to the team's culture through energy, openness, and engagement. ## Benefits - The role is part of a growing development organization. The client is an innovative supplier of airborne weapon systems in world-class quality. They offer a wide range of support solutions in civil and military aviation. Here, development, research, and production of aircraft systems take place. - As an employee at Framtiden AB, you will feel secure.
