## About the role Composable Analytics, an MIT data analytics company, develops a comprehensive data operations (DataOps) platform and builds data-intensive business applications. We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team full-time, focusing on building machine learning models for various business solutions within the Composable DataOps Platform. Candidates should have expertise in machine learning, data science, and practical experience in developing solutions that drive business value. The successful candidate will be an active member of our development team, working with software engineers, data engineers, data scientists and architects, and shaping the product direction. ## Key responsibilities - Design and develop machine learning models tailored to business applications - Perform feature engineering, feature selection, and data preprocessing to enhance model accuracy and performance - Tune and optimize models for deployment, leveraging techniques such as hyperparameter optimization and cross-validation - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and architects, to integrate models into scalable solutions within the Composable platform - Utilize SQL and big data technologies to handle large datasets efficiently - Contribute to the automation and optimization of data-driven business processes ## The ideal candidate will - Hold an advanced degree in a related field (Ph.D. preferred) - Have hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) - Demonstrate strong programming and analytical skills - Be passionate about solving real-world business problems with data ## What we offer This is your chance to be a critical part of this development team.
