## About the role We are looking for a motivated Backend Engineer with strong Python programming skills to join our team. This role starts with a 2-month paid internship, leading to full-time employment based on performance. As a backend engineer, you will collaborate with our AI-ML, data, and mobile teams to develop APIs, handle data pipelines, and build scalable backend systems. ## Responsibilities - Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for EveoAI's AI-driven fashion recommendation system. - Develop RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data communication between various systems. - Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to handle data storage and retrieval efficiently. - Collaborate with cloud engineers to deploy services on AWS/Azure platforms. - Contribute to building real-time recommendation and data processing systems. - Work with the mobile app team to ensure smooth backend integration. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging. - Ensure backend security, scalability, and performance optimization. ## Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 1+ years of experience in backend development, particularly in Python. - Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. - Familiarity with RESTful API development and database management (SQL/NoSQL). - Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes). - Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ## Nice to have - Prior experience in fashion, e-commerce, or AI-driven applications. - Knowledge of AI/ML-based systems and cloud AI services. - Familiarity with startup environments and working in agile teams. ## What we offer - 2-month paid internship followed by full-time employment based on performance. - Competitive compensation package and ESOP opportunities after the internship. - Accommodation provided for onsite candidates. - Work in an innovative startup environment with ample learning and growth opportunities.
