## About the role Entrupy is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who is excited about automating manual processes and can lead complex projects. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for automating the processes and workflows that can have a significant business impact by increasing the authentication team's efficiency and accuracy. You will need to have a strong understanding of both back-end and front-end development, as well as a willingness to learn new technologies quickly. In addition, we are looking for someone who can work effectively in a team that is spread across different time zones. Some areas you will work on would include: - Creating image search systems - infrastructure for similarity searching tens of millions of images + metadata. - Creating tools to encode + expose knowledge for our authentication team (databases/CRMs) - Monitoring systems & other analytics work to help flag areas where our knowledge is lacking for our expert teams - Internal dashboards and customer support tools - Policy tracking and change management systems - Custom search systems and data investigation tools - Interfaces to explain machine learning and expert system output - Account management systems - Data annotation tools - Internal training platforms Reports to: Engineering Manager Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid) ## What You'll Do - Develop systems that follow modern design principles and are implemented using secure, flexible & scalable methodologies, promote a streamlined, collaborative environment & use efficient workflows while keeping focus on a positive user experience - You'll contribute reliable code across all phases of the development lifecycle, collaborating on product specifications and operational feasibility - You'll come up with ideas for projects to clean up technical debt and make it easier to develop in our codebases - You'll champion a balance between following good coding practices and delivering value for our customers quickly - You'll produce well-tested, extensible code that stands up to existing and future load requirements - You'll share your expertise in a thoughtful, no-ego way with all members of the team, coaching team members when needed - Sheppard your contributions through peer review, testing, deployment, and finally monitoring in production ## Who you are - Generalist with experience in web apps, backend services, and databases. - 6+ years of experience in full-stack web development. - Solid working knowledge of Python, and experience using it in backend services using Flask/Django/Fast API or similar web framework. - Experience with building front-end websites or tools using modern SPA frameworks like Vue/React. - Experience with databases (Postgres, NoSQL, etc.) - Experience working as the lead on various technical projects. - Prior experience working in a startup-like environment ## What we offer - Market competitive compensation structure - Hybrid with Flexible work from anywhere for 4 weeks per year - Generous time away including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more! - Rich medical benefits and insurance coverage - Opportunity to be part of category defining start up. ## About the company Culturally we operate with intelligence, respect, and curiosity, relentlessly pursuing ideas to improve our offering and execute our mission.
