Senior Frontend Engineer

## About the role We see a future where all banks will need to support digital assets and provide a responsive, online interface to tech-savvy customers. Custodia is already a chartered bank and is providing banking, money market fund, and bitcoin custody services to business customers. The Custodia team is comprised of all-stars with deep experience in both bitcoin and traditional financial services. ## Responsibilities - Design and implement software for the React/Typescript frontend - Assist and implement software for the Python/Go backend - Write reusable, testable, idiomatic, principled code - Read and write technical documentation - Quick and efficient debugging capabilities - Assume technical responsibility of various complex systems - Perform regular code review - Provide mentorship for team members - Autonomously break down ambiguous work and plot a course of action - An advocate for more efficient, quick, and high quality code delivery - Ability to grow less-experienced peers into formidable colleagues through pairing, code reviews, and empathetic coaching ## Requirements - 4+ years of previous experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer - Substantial experience with React and Typescript - Appreciation for UX - Experience separating the data/api layer and the presentation layer with front-end applications - Experience developing apps from scratch and shipped to production - Understands the importance of unit & end-to-end testing - Remote work experience ## Nice to have - CSS-in-JS tools such as Styled Components - RTK Query (Redux Tool Kit) - Tailwind - Storybook - Playwright / Puppeteer - Webpack 4 or 5 - Python/Go experience - Full stack engineering ## What we offer - Competitive Salary - 100% Remote - Competitive Equity Package - Amazing Growth Opportunity - Unlimited PTO - Medical, Dental and Vision ## About the company For CO, NY, CA and WA residents, the salary range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000/year with additional equity compensation and bonus opportunity.
