Responsibilities
Provide immediate fault location information for 69kV and above line automatic operations and critical 34kV line operations. Review and analyze protective relay event records to determine fault type and relay performance. Generate Corrective Maintenance (CM) work requests to address identified abnormalities and systematic problems. Utilize lightning service tools to validate lightning strikes in proximity to equipment. Provide guidance to operations and field testing groups on system alarm conditions and degraded protection states. Participate in technical and industry societies to enhance knowledge of new technologies.
