About the role

We’re looking for a Senior/Staff Back-End Engineer to play a pivotal role building and scaling the back-end architecture to support our rapidly growing user base.

In this role, you will:

Own core back-end services: Develop and maintain the key back-end services and APIs that power our metric tree applications, including the proprietary metrics modeling layer.

Build and scale infrastructure: Tackle core issues like latency, scalability, and security to ensure our platform remains reliable and high-performing.

Leverage ML/LLMs: Harness machine learning algorithms and large language models for advanced analysis, automation, and summarization features that bring insights to users.

About You

To thrive in this role, you bring:

Extensive experience building and scaling data-intensive applications, from data pipelines to machine learning algorithms or performant user-facing data products.

Proven track record working within a data product startup or within a data platform team.

Strong proficiency in Python or another data-intensive programming language, along with SQL, and demonstrated experience with TypeScript and Node.js.

Solid understanding of data modeling, business metrics, and the real-world use cases that drive value for businesses.

Drive for understanding and improving every aspect of the product, from infra to back-end to the end user experience.
