## About the role A fast-growing tech startup is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist to join our team. We are solving the problems for ecommerce using AI/ML and looking for someone who is passionate about using data to drive business decisions. ## Responsibilities - Analyze large amounts of ecommerce data to uncover insights and trends. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data-driven solutions. - Ability to self-start & work in a challenging environment by navigating ambiguity & by bringing structure. Work to solve problems vertically i.e. bringing in 0 to 1 progress. - Develop and implement machine learning models. - Thorough understanding of database, streaming & analytics services offered by popular cloud platforms(Azure, AWS, GCP) and hands-on implementation of building machine learning pipeline with atleast one of the popular cloud platforms. - Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and machine learning. - Continuously evaluate the performance of existing models and suggest improvements. ## Requirements - Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. - 1+ years of experience in data science and machine learning. - Strong programming skills in Python. - Experience with machine learning algorithms and libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.). - Familiarity with SQL and data warehousing concepts. - Experience working with demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, driver analysis, time series analysis, statistical models, regression models and deep learning models. - Strong technical knowledge of Regression, Classification, Bayesian and Probabilistic Models AI ML Experience working with AI products, data science packages, etc. - Experience with building and deploying machine learning models on large-scale data. Experience working with highly unbalanced data. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ## Nice to have - Prior Internship Experience in any quantitative field (e.g. Data Science, Applied Maths, Time Series Forecasting & Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, AI, Economics, or Engineering) is a good to have. ## What we offer - We offer a dynamic work environment, opportunities for growth, and a competitive salary package.
