Responsibilities
Migrate functionality and data away from WCS as the source of truth; Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring/Spring Boot; Work with MongoDB as part of the target backend architecture; Analyse and navigate the existing WCS codebase to understand business logic, integrations and dependencies; Provide technical guidance on WCS infrastructure and architecture; Understand and support existing WCS build, deployment and release processes; Troubleshoot WCS environments and resolve infrastructure/application issues; Support access, configuration and environment management across WCS; Help identify and migrate relevant functionality from WCS into the new Java/Spring/MongoDB stack; Collaborate with engineering, architecture and DevOps teams throughout the migration; Contribute to improving build, deployment and operational processes; Support the team in reducing dependency on WCS and transitioning towards the new platform.
