Supervise day-to-day operations of the Core Chemistry department, ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results reported timely, directly supervise and mentor laboratory personnel, monitor daily workflow and schedule assay coverage, ensure proper staffing for all shifts, research and resolve production errors, engage in continuous process and service level improvements, ensure equipment maintenance through Quality Control, prepare and maintain Quality Assurance records, evaluate new process improvements, meet with direct reports for coaching and feedback, perform bench work as needed, ensure compliance with state and Federal regulations, administer and manage policies and procedures, process and maintain payroll and personnel files
