We are presently identifying candidates for the following position: Human Geographer - Mid-Level. This work requires staff to perform human geography production. Staff must have demonstrated ability to operate in a high-tempo environment, be adaptable and team-oriented, be committed to delivering timely and accurate GEOINT, and exhibit professionalism. This role would assist to provide a broad array of Human Geography products to customers throughout the IC, NSG, and ASG. These customers rely on the accurate and timely delivery of these products to support policy decisions and mission planning and execution. The customer seeks support for operations to the GEOINT enterprise. National System for Geospatial Intelligence Operations Executive (NOX) levied requirements and formal requests (RFI's) for geospatial data. The candidate shall use an understanding of geography, research, GIS, and data conflation and management skills to produce the broad array of human geography products including attributed data, maps, including written reports. Production phases for HG projects and products may include research, discovery, evaluation, extraction, creation, geo-enabling, quality control/review, metadata attribution, source citation, service enabling and dissemination. The candidate shall participate in technical exchanges with Government, partners, and contract personnel located at their site and virtually around the globe. The technical exchanges will focus on Human Geography production to Customer standards and feature extraction/attribution issues related to Human Geography production. ## Responsibilities - Perform human geography production. - Operate in a high-tempo environment. - Provide a broad array of Human Geography products to customers throughout the IC, NSG, and ASG. - Support operations to the GEOINT enterprise. - Respond to National System for Geospatial Intelligence Operations Executive (NOX) levied requirements and formal requests (RFI's) for geospatial data. - Use an understanding of geography, research, GIS, and data conflation and management skills to produce human geography products including attributed data, maps, and written reports. - Execute production phases for HG projects and products, which may include: - Research - Discovery - Evaluation - Extraction - Creation - Geo-enabling - Quality control/review - Metadata attribution - Source citation - Service enabling - Dissemination - Participate in technical exchanges with Government, partners, and contract personnel located at their site and virtually around the globe. - Focus technical exchanges on Human Geography production to Customer standards and feature extraction/attribution issues related to Human Geography production. ## Minimum Qualifications - U.S. Citizen. - Active Top-Secret/SCI security clearance at time of application and willingness to complete a CI poly upon request. - 1-3 years of demonstrated experience supporting DoD or the IC's GEOINT Mission. - Knowledge of Human Geography concepts. - Experience in the research, discovery and extraction of geospatial and non-geospatial information. - Experience in imagery research, extraction and attribution. - Proficiency in use of fundamental ArcGIS Pro software tools in the creation, attribution, schema development and utilization, management, and geo-referencing of data. - Experience in geo-enabling non-spatial data. - Demonstrated experience to communicate GEOINT products, data, and services to peers and leadership. ## Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of the regional, cultural and political geography of the region assigned. - Experience in using established cartographic principles, geo-referencing, and naming conventions/Romanization in the creation of geo-spatial products. - Experience in creating and publishing GEOINT products. - Working knowledge of at least one of the foreign languages of the assigned region. - Experience producing data and products to NSG standards. - Experience with open source data harvest, process automation and scripting. - Experience with data management, schema development, and data conflation. - Experience with Google Earth Engine (GEE). - Proficiency in Basic Python Scripting. - Relevant Formal/Advanced Military Training (Tech School, Advanced Individual Training, A School, or other MOS/AFSC/Rate granting equivalent) or a current GEOINT Professional Certification-Foundations (GPC-F). ## Work Environment Work is within a team environment and will be conducted on site in St. Louis, MO. ## What We Offer - Candidates are encouraged to submit a resume that explicitly addresses each of the requirements listed above. ## About the Company Wiser Imagery Services employs personnel within the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. ## Additional Information - Equal Opportunity Employer / Individuals with Disabilities / Protected Veterans. - To comply with Federal law, Wiser Imagery Services participates in E-Verify.
