Responsibilities
Drive APQP program management to ensure flawless SOP and obtain PPAP deliverables; Provide DFM & DFA feedback during APQP Phase 2; Validate component-level PPAPs from sub-tier vendors; Define special characteristic steps for mechanical assembly, test, and integration; Lead development of Process PPAP deliverables including PFMEAs and Control Plans; Design and qualify manufacturing equipment, tooling, and gauges; Support Process Verification (PV) Testing with Run-at-Rate studies; Lead RCCA using 8D methodology to resolve assembly failures; Manage Metrology and MSA ensuring gauges are qualified; Collaborate with Field Quality to update Control Plans based on real-world data
