Responsibilities
Perform modeling and analysis of utility-scale solar, storage, and hybrid power plants; Interpret ISO/TSO interconnection requirements and recommend control configurations; Maintain and manage versions of SMA's model portfolio; Provide technical support by troubleshooting models and executing simulation studies; Analyze inverter control modes and plant-level control strategies; Prepare modeling study reports and technical documentation; Coordinate with Global Competence Center and collaborate with German modeling team; Support participation in industry working groups (NERC, ESIG, ISOs); Develop internal training materials; Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, and engineering teams
