Information Security Engineer Hybrid

## Responsibilities - Operate, maintain, and tune platforms and tools - Collaborate with Threat Hunting Analysts and Investigators to provide salient datasets - Adapt approaches to evolving threats - Perform vulnerability mitigation and remediation across listed Cisco products - Provide technical mentoring to the extended team - Contribute to crafting and documenting Cisco product solutions - Support incident response and ensure Cisco meets compliance and regulatory requirements - Be part of the on-call rotation and handle travel as required ## Requirements - 4+ years administration experience with unified computing systems with Intersight or equivalent that include host management, storage integration, and automation capabilities - 3+ years advanced Linux system administration (troubleshooting, automation) or equivalent skills - 2+ years scripting experience (Python, Ansible) for automation/integration or comparable automation tools - 2+ years operational experience with Cisco products (Umbrella, AnyConnect, StealthWatch, FTD, Meraki), including vulnerability mitigation/remediation, or equivalent network security experience - Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) - This position may also perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. Citizen on U.S. soil - This is a hybrid role (requiring onsite) in Raleigh, North Carolina ## Nice to Have - Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills - Excellent technical writing skills and ability to draft sophisticated engineering documentation - Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to work multi-functionally in a team environment ## Benefits - U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco’s plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance - U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies - The starting salary range posted for this position is $126,500.00 to $182,000.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits - Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time The application window is expected to close on: 07/13/2026.
