Technical Lead – Full-Stack Wireless Software (G11)

## Meet the Team The Cisco Wireless Feature & System Engineering team builds end-to-end wireless capabilities across access points, controllers, and cloud-managed platforms. We design features that span device software, control planes, and management systems to deliver seamless, secure, and high-performance enterprise Wi-Fi. ## Your Impact As a Technical Lead, you will drive architecture and technical direction for wireless features across AP, controller, and management systems, with full ownership of development and validation strategies. ### In this role: - Define architecture for end-to-end wireless systems and features - Lead development and test strategy for complex features - Drive system-level design across device, network, and management layers - Guide debugging of cross-layer issues - Establish best practices for development, testing, and automation - Mentor engineers and influence technical direction - Drive adoption of AI-enabled development and testing workflows ## Minimum Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in wireless or networking systems - Deep expertise in 802.11 and enterprise wireless architectures - Strong understanding of development + testing + system validation - Experience with wireless security (WPA3, 802.1X) - Strong system design and cross-team leadership skills ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience with: - Mesh networking and topology optimization - Spectrum analysis and RF management - Wireless scheduling and airtime fairness - Location services / analytics - Familiarity with PQC concepts in security systems ## Why Cisco?
