Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws and OH&S rules, Develop and implement traffic control plans in the field, Direct all traffic operations on-site and coordinate with subcontractors, Maintain direct line authority over traffic personnel and procedures, Liaise with Municipalities, transit providers, and Contracting Authority, Monitor queue lengths and implement measures to ensure safety, Monitor transit travel times and raise operational performance issues, Respond to traffic-related incidents and document major incidents within 48 hours, Document traffic measures and activities daily, Oversee requirements of the Project Agreement for safe traffic movement, Attend regularly scheduled traffic management meetings
