Responsibilities
Define multi-year compliance strategy and roadmap for IS&T solutions in China; Architect compliance programs from first principles including control frameworks and assessment methodologies; Build and lead the compliance team in China from the ground up; Own PIPL compliance for in-country solutions including data subject rights and cross-border transfers; Personally review assessments, findings, and control designs; Evaluate proposed architectures and data flows for control fit; Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Internal Audit to translate regulations into testable controls; Own readiness for internal and external audits; Drive risk governance and accountability for solutions in China; Establish monitoring metrics and dashboards for compliance posture; Bridge in-country requirements with global standards.
