Responsibilities
Create and review detailed technical packages (tech packs) for sweater designs including specifications for yarn, stitch, construction, measurements, and finishing techniques; Conduct fit sessions, analyze garment samples, and provide clear, actionable feedback to ensure proper fit and construction; Collaborate with domestic and international manufacturers to address technical issues, clarify design intent, and ensure accurate sample production; Review and approve pre-production and production samples, ensuring consistency in fit, construction, and quality; Utilize knowledge of yarns, knitting machines, and knitting techniques to optimize the production process and achieve desired design outcomes; Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the production process; Work closely with the design team to ensure the final product aligns with the creative vision while meeting technical and production requirements; Maintain accurate records of all technical specifications, fit comments, and revisions throughout the development and production process.
