Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate onsite installation teams, technicians, vendors and subcontractors; Plan daily work, maintain installation trackers, run site kick-offs and safety briefings; Oversee rack positioning, levelling, bolting, rack-and-stack, server and switch installation, PDU installation and structured cabling; Ensure cable management meets required standards including labelling, colour coding, bend radius, containment, airflow and accurate cable mapping; Review rack elevations, floor plans, cabling diagrams, network diagrams and installation drawings before and during work; Complete site-readiness checks across access, permits, delivery logistics, equipment storage, floor loading, available space, power and cooling; Coordinate receipt, inspection, inventory and staging of racks, servers, switches, cabling and associated equipment; Verify installation quality including grounding/bonding, PDU installation, power delivery, cooling and airflow requirements; Support equipment power-up, basic connectivity checks, link/port validation and initial testing; Manage installation QA, field changes and handover documentation including as-built rack elevations, cable maps, port maps, serial-number records, photographs, checklists, test evidence and customer sign-off
