Senior Software Engineer

## About the role You will create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and maintain high-quality code with a focus on performance, reliability, security, maintainability, and operational excellence. You will lead complex technical initiatives from concept through deployment, balancing customer needs, engineering quality, operational requirements, and security considerations. You will identify dependencies, author technical design documentation, and develop execution plans that align teams around technical strategy, implementation, and delivery milestones. You will leverage telemetry, analytics, and AI-driven insights to improve governance coverage, reduce operational risk, automate manual processes, and drive data-informed engineering decisions. You will act as a technical leader within the team by mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, leading design discussions, and promoting engineering best practices. You will serve as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for critical services, participating in on-call rotations, monitoring service health, resolving incidents, and driving long-term reliability improvements. You will drive continuous improvements in service availability, observability, efficiency, performance, and operational consistency through modernization and automation investments. Embody our culture and values. ## Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. - Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, and service reliability practices. - Experience working with large-scale data platforms, telemetry, analytics, or automation systems. - Demonstrated ability to drive technical solutions across multiple teams and stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. - Experience building governance, compliance, security, identity, or risk management solutions. - Experience with AI/ML, agentic workflows, or intelligent automation. - Experience developing enterprise SaaS platforms serving large-scale environments. - Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks, including risk management and control implementation. - Demonstrated history of mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership. ## Nice to have - Experience with AI/ML, agentic workflows, or intelligent automation. - Experience developing enterprise SaaS platforms serving large-scale environments. - Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks, including risk management and control implementation.
