## About the role
Regional Equipment Sourcing & Procurement Director - Data Center Infrastructure is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for critical data center equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure components. This role ensures continuity of supply, cost optimization, supplier performance, and risk mitigation to support global data center expansion and operations. The position partners closely with Engineering, Construction, Capacity Planning, Finance, and Operations teams to forecast demand, negotiate supply agreements, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the timely delivery of high‑quality equipment to data center sites worldwide.
## Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
- Develop and own procurement strategies for major data center equipment categories (e.g., UPS systems, generators, switchgear, power distribution units, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, & HAC).
- Conduct project assessments, regional segmentation, and cost modeling to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Lead RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ) from requirements gathering through supplier selection and contract execution.
- Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, benchmarking regional projects, and long‑term sourcing roadmaps in partnership with Category teams.
- Establish and manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, capacity, delivery performance, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with legal, commercial, and operational standards.
- Work with Data Center Engineering to translate technical requirements into project specific procurement specifications.
- Coordinate with Construction & Planning teams to align delivery schedules with build milestones.
- Partner with Cost & Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.

## Requirements
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 5+ years experience in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, and/or operation
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 7+ years experience in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, and/or operation
- OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 12+ years experience in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, and/or operation
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 15+ years experience in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, and/or operation
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years people management experience.
