Senior Sourcing Engineer, Spares and Warranty

## About the role - Establish strong relationships with Storage suppliers (e.g. SSD, DRAM); serving as the senior escalation point for supplier leadership, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues to support business growth and operational excellence - Manage component pricing, lead time, and multi-source allocation across suppliers to drive spares supply chain optimization and resiliency - Align suppliers on SLAs, KPIs, and OLAs, and conduct regular MBR/QBR sessions to drive performance improvement - Define RFQ / RFP activities and conduct negotiations with suppliers - Develop and execute sourcing strategies for NPI, EOL, and multi-source initiatives to ensure cost advantage and continuity of supply. Implement process optimization initiatives to enhance sourcing workflows and decision-making. ## Requirements - Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 3+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles - OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 4+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles - OR equivalent experience. - These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field and, 9+ years supply chain operations, Cost optimization with suppliers, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience - OR Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field and 7+ years supply chain operations, Cost optimization with suppliers, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience. - 4+ years of experience in Cloud or High-tech supply chain - Demonstrated ability to approach challenges with thoughtful analysis and sound judgment - Adaptable and effective in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities - Excellent influencing skills with ability to build relationships across multiple layers in the organization - Deep analytical capabilities and ability to synthesize data to influence leadership decision making - Good understanding of DRAM, NAND, HDD technologies, including product roadmap and transitions - Expertise with various business tools (e.g. word, excel, PBI, power point). ## What we offer - Sourcing Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. - There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year. - Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
