## About the role
- Engage with customer IT and business leaders to understand their cloud migration plans, their network and data estate, priorities, and success measures, and design secure, scalable solutions that deliver measurable business value.
- Work with account teams to get quality nominations for Factory Delivery in, ensuring we capture all services and accelerate migration to cloud.
- Define cloud adoption strategies, migration roadmaps, and modernization initiatives.
- Create architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Provide delivery oversight and escalation support for key Factory engagements across applications workloads.
- Be accredited and certified to deliver with advanced and expert-level proficiency across priority application workloads, including cloud-native architectures (AKS, Azure Container Apps), API and microservices design, and modernization of .NET and Java applications.
- Drive replatforming, refactoring, and re-architecting of enterprise applications, ensuring scalable, resilient, and production-grade solutions on Azure.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot for code remediation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for landing zones.
- Drive repeatable modernization processes across customer engagements using Factory practices.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership during deployment, integration, and migration.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset by continuously aligning your skills to team and customer needs, contributing to technical communities, and mentoring others to accelerate customer outcomes.
## Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)

- Ability to use GitHub Copilot for code remediation.
- Azure App Services, AKS, Azure Container Apps, Azure Spring Apps, Azure Red Hat OpenShift.
- Identity and security services: Azure AD, Key Vault, Managed Identities, Defender for Cloud.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and governance models.
- Problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
## What we offer
- Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across United Kingdom is £ 79,700.00 - £ 133,900.00 per year.
