Software Engineer Intern (PHP/ API)

Graduate Students looking for projects. 1-3 years of hands-on experience with coding. You will get training in coding and bug fixing. Ability to work on existing code and develop new applications in PHP and MySQL. Ajax and Javascript are required. This is a full-time remote internship role for 3 months. This is an early-stage startup and there would be a salary after getting funded. ## Responsibilities The job description involves: - Web development, QA / automated testing - Imagine, design, implement, test, and roll out bugs and new features - Ship code daily and see it loved (or hated) by users - Test and verify the website features and functions constantly - Technologies we work with includes: PHP, MySQL, CodeIgniter - JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap ## Requirements - 1+ years programming experience - Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain web systems - Deep understanding of web development concepts - Expert-level knowledge in a programming language - Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Familiarity with PHP/ MY SQL ## The ideal candidate - Self-motivated and highly productive - A data-driven problem solver - Passionate about helping (and delighting) end-users - Loves learning and teaching others - Makes teammates better - Resourceful and adaptable - Communicates effectively - Empathetic and self-aware
