Responsibilities
Off-load daily shipments and stage them on the receiving floor; Accurately count and document inbound deliveries and perform proper maintenance on all forklifts; Pick customer orders for shipment, making sure the correct number and type of product is picked, packed, and shipped; Weigh orders, inspect, and load trucks and assemble various types of merchandise for shipment; Label, mark, and shrink-wrap orders as requested; Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety, adhering to safety standards and reporting any unsafe conditions immediately; Operate hand jacks, shrink wrapping equipment, and forklift trucks, process orders on PC or handheld scanning unit, and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
